     The guy behind Music Instructor is Holger Trance (born August 10, 1972) who goes by nick
     name: Holly. He was born in a small German town Winnenden. His life is an neverending moving
     from one place to another. He changed about twenty times his wallpapers and schools. The
     reason for this lifestyle is his father Robert who's profession caused often moving to different
     cities. Finally he ended up in the town of his dream: Berlin.

     His artistic skill are developing in Leipzig (Germany), where he
     studies for last five years in prestigious Mendelssohn Bartholdy
     School of Music and Theatre. From the very beginning he wanted
     to become an serious artist therefore very carefully he took singing
     classes as well as pronunciation and acting classes. A big help was
     Prince Wolfgang "Wolke" Lenk who gave him lessons of "phrase
     singing" for one semester. As I said he always wanted to be
     musician. For his 15th birthday his sister gave him a guitar. From
     that moment the music became life for Holly. He also learnt by
     himself how to play on keyboard. He started working hard, and
     based on his present achievements, we know he really did a good
     job. Few years later he established a group called "Believe In
     Spring", however without major success. As a matter of fact this
     group almost signed profitable contract, unfortunately the label
     went banckrupt, before the contract was signeds. It didn't make
     Holly stop from moving forward. Meanwhile, he was equipping his
     studio with new instruments, was constantly making new demos
     and sending them to many labels. His version of Ultravox's "Hymn" ended up in the label he is
     presently recording. His present producers: Triple-M Music loved that remake and decided to
     help Holly in his carrier. They knew that "Hymn" is a candidate for a Hit and they were far from
     being wrong. "Hymn" was first officially released track by Music Instructor and became an
     immediate success in 1995. Relationship between Holly and his producers is very fruitful and
     brought new hits. Second single "Hands In The Air" is now a huge Hit. More recently Holly
     released his first album entitled: The World of Music Instructor with his newest single
     "Dream A Little Dream". Now everybody wants him and a mysterious Music Instructor (A Tin
     Man - Robot reminding Wizard of Oz) whos identity is still the secret, to play for them and give
     authographs..

      Review
               First single released in 1995 "Hymn" was a very popular track all over the Europe
               featured later in many European dance compilations. This particular song was an
               "instruction" how to make a nice dance track. It begun with spoken words: Ladies
               and Gentlemen. We would like to show you how to make a hit record. And as a
               matter of fact they did show. "Hymn" is very nice Hi-Energy/Techno track originally
               performed by ULTRAVOX and quite recently introduced also by Italian group
               Cabballero. Next hit by this group "Hands In The Air" released in 1996 instructs
               this time how to have a party. Another hit that has been featured in various
               compilations i.e FORMEL EINS (Formula One) - Hit Explosion.
               Practically each song in this album starts by spoken words by Music Instructor.
               You learn about him in fifth track in this album "Everybody". He says: Most people
               think that robots have no feelings, but that's not true. I'm a machine but sometimes
               I feel lonely too, because everybody needs somebody to love. Well... in the album
               you will learn not only how to make a good records and have a good party but also
               how to dance (track - 7 "Dance") how to join unity of the party people of many
               nations (track - 8 "Celebration") what to do if you feel alone (track -9 "If You Feel
               Alone"). In another very cute RMB-like track "Dream A Little Dream" Music
               Instructor says: We could have Paradise on Earth if we believe in a future, so let
               the children of the world change the things around us. I think this message of
               PEACE and FREEDOM is for ALL OF US. Entire album is a very good production in
               HI-ENERGY/TECHNO style. It is not a heavy TECHNO but very dancable. Good
               work with sequencers, percussion instruments, drums and definately great
               sequence melodies. For all of you who like such combination the album will bring
               pleasure to dance.

The "History" of Music Instructor

On the 10th of August, 1972 a small boy was born in the city "Winnenden" by the name of Holger
Trenz (Trance). He came to the nickname "Holly". For professional reasons of the father Holly has
already quite often moved. Then at last he has landed in his dream city "Berlin" and there he has
remained. On his 15.th birthday he got as a birthday present of his sister a guitar. This should probably
have been the foundation-stone for his later success. He learned himself playing the guitar and
worked very hard on it to perfecting. Some years later he created a music group by the name of
Believe In Jump". Unfortunately, everything did not tire itself as well as it Holly had wished. A contract
with a record company failed. Holly became from this disappointment, however, not braked to play
musik as well as he loved them. In the interval he developed his music studio with new instruments, did
demo songs and sent these to different producers. A demo song also arrived the producer's team
Triple-M Crew. It was a remake of Ultravox's "Hymn". Mike Michael, Mark Dollar and Mark Tobacco of
Triple-M Crew loved this remake and decided to support Holly in in his career. Because Triple-M Crew
was convinced that "Hymn" becames success, so they produced it. "Hymn" was therefore the first
official Track, which was released in end of 1995. Because the well functioning co-operation between
Holly and the producer-team they produced the next hit with the title "Hands in The Air". Then the first
album "The World Of Music Instructor" with the new Single "Dream A Little Dream" was also
published. In the videos there was still one which wore a robot-suit and has always explained in the
songs how one does, e.g., a hit or celebrates a party. Besides, he also gave autographs. However, his
identity was a secret.

Then in the late summer of ` 96 it became quietly around Music Instructor.
Beginning of ` 98 Music Instructor reported back again. Now with the Hit "Super Sonic" should as go
on as at that time with "Hymn" and "Hands in The Air", but not any more with Holly, but other various
artists as for example the Flying Steps, the Lunatics, Storm, TSM or also DEAN. "Super Sonic"
received "GOLD-status" in Germany, because 250.000 cd´s were sold. The next Single was "Rock
Your Body", in my opinion one the best songs of Music Instructor ` s. Then a little bit later came the
next Single which probably ran the biggest success. "Get Freaky" called and was sold about 500.000
times !!! In this big hit have performed the Lunatics, the Flying Steps and "Abe" from the PC and PSX
Game "Oddworld, Abe` s Exoddus". Not much later was released the second album called Electric
City Of Music Instructorwith the new song called "Electric City" an the other great hits (Get Freaky,
Super Sonic...).

Again some time passed up to the next Single which showed a little bit other, rather more dance style.
The speech is of "DJ's Rock Da House". If u hear this song, u cannot became enough of it. It can be
make addicted;-).

currently news about Music Instrcutor

The current work is called "Super Fly (upper mc)". The CD contains 4 versions of the song. It has
become an absolute Breakdancesong again. When u have the chance to listen to the song, then do it,
but please on the legal way, because how one says so beautifully : Copy Kills Music !!!

On the 30th of august, 2000 Music Instructor has visited the german TV-Internet-Show NBC GIGA,
which is shown from monday to friday 5 hours a day on NBC (Europe) live, to perform the the newest
single "Super Fly (upper mc)". They have also answered some question from the chat. A beautiful
thing for me was also happened during this day. Because I wrote Emily Whigham (net reporter "stars"
at NBC-GIGA) a mail in the morning of this day in which i told her about my little webapge she
presented it to my surprise live on the show. Dean, actor of Music Instructor which also worked on
other Musicprojects was glad about this page... . Therefore, a big "Thanks" to Emily !!!

Neuere Infos

To rumors according the new album should come in the end of the last year (2000) to the shops. This
also confirmed Music Instructor, when they were in Berlin on the "YOU". "The album is finished of a big
part, and can become possibly released in end of year". The title of the album is already fixed probably
also, however, was not betrayed yet, so DEAN in the interview on VIVA TV.
Now we already have at the end of April, 2001 and there is no new album... :-(
