         DJ Hyper has been steadily climbing up the ranks as a breakbeat DJ thanks to his residencies at Bedrock (John Digweed’s club) and Tyrant in London. His Y3K full-length on Distinctive Breaks was album of the month by respected U.K. electronic music publications such as Muzik and Mixmag. He makes his debut for Whole Nine Yards in partnership with the JBO-signed Dylan Rhymes, who has been running amuck with his own new imprint Blue Black.
Hyper has delivered a second volume for DistinctiveBreaks Y3K:Soundtrack For The Future which drops more deep, progressive, and twisted breakbeat mutations from leaders in the field including Way Out West, Anthony Rother and others.      "Trigger," with its punchy, furious percussion and mutated, buzzing synths, has been hammered by the likes of Adam Freeland, Tayo, Rennie Pilgrem, and Junior Cartier (Jon Carter of Monkey Mafia infamy).
     Terminalhead, known far and wide for his remixes on Sony's INCredible imprint and his releases for the Distinctive Breaks label, offers a deep and funky remix of "Trigger" with a bit of blissed out edgework that has a refined and mesmerizing feel. Choice as can be and worthy of big play for a long time to come!
